David Jones in the parish of Gloddva ? on 27 April 1736 at 12 in the forenoon broke into the dwelling house of William ........ and stole 1 cloth coat (value 5/-); 1 cloth waistcoat (value 1/6); 1 silk handkerchief (value 6d) and a pair of worsted stockings (value 7d) (WALES 4/1001/7).  Sum of 7/6 levied on the inhabitants of the county to re-imburse John Wynne, late gaoler, money laid out by him for the more effectual security of David Jones, a prisoner who was executed for burglary in this county (Quarter Session Minute Book Session beginning 7 October 1736)
